Chloë March Discography:
Garden On The Boulevard ~ November 29/09 ~ EP
Chloë's latest EP includes songs inspired by bees, boulevard cafés, old cameras, ghosts of lost love and the dawn chorus. Electro and chillout influenced tracks sit alongside incredibly detailed and hypnotic soundscapes featuring field-recordings and Chloë's trademark vocal layerings, keyshifts and haunting emotional undertow.
Divining ~ November 28/08 ~ Album
A concept album inspired by water, includes reveries of soft summer rain and melting ice, dark rivers of love and loss, a lament for Anne Boleyn, tales of sensuous Venice, sadistic sculptors, songs inspired by ‘I Capture The Castle’ by Dodie Smith and Angela Carter's fairy-tales. Featuring the beautiful french horn-playing of Emma Bell, flowing piano lines, found-sounds and shimmering beats, the album has been compared to Kate Bush, Elizabeth Fraser and Bat for Lashes, but is ultimately Chloë's own distinctive musical voice.
‘A mesmerizing voice and artfully filtered sounds...’ julians flight
‘A command of the keyboard reminiscent of Kate Bush, Tori Amos or Nina Simone’ Tom Robinson BBC Introducing
‘Divining' is a gorgeous semi concept album water imagery being the central conceit. Her voice is a smooth silky alto and her hypnotic compositions are drenched in misty synth orchestrations, Satie-piano pieces, wind chimes, French horns and harps.*Highly recommended* for lovers of ethereal dream pop.’ ethereal-lad
‘It's as lovely as they say. It's almost a score without a film. There's a sense of place, earnest and immersive. And what's truly remarkable is that it's not at all the samey new-age-compilation that the song titles might suggest. Listening to it is interesting. There are things to discover. There are ways to become lost.’ self as fractal

‘Wow, this is a beautiful record. March has a voice that blends perfectly with the lush arrangements and intricate piano....I really enjoy songs that incorporate many layers and instruments (if paper is an instrument, and heck, why not?) and this is a perfect example of this method done right’ collected sounds
